Floral Waxes
Floral waxes They are plant waxes made from flowers produced from delicate flowers. Carefully selected flowers heads are mixed with a sovent to produce a concrete. The concrete is then mixed with a high proof alcohol and chilled. The concrete separates into a fragrant liquid and a solid wax. The are less expensive than absolutes and add emolliency, scent and color to lotions, creams, soap, balms, pomades, lip balms, solid single-note perfume. They hold many of the benefits of the botanical including the moisturizing phospholipids. 30g of floral wax is equivalent to about 15g of the corresponding absolute. Recommanded usage is up to 10%.
