Cetyl alcohol

International Denomination: Cetyl alcohol
Melting point: 52 degrees C.
It is a Co-emulsifier and emollient composed of fatty acids of vegetable source
(palm oil), which makes it possible to obtain an oils in water emulsion.
Uses:
Thickens creams and gives an onctuous and rich texture.
Is appropriate for all skin types, but more particularly, with dry skin.

We always use it (from 2 to 5%) in partnership with another emulsifier, that is to say,
the emulsifying wax, or the emulsifiers E and F, in the oily phase.
