Sorbitol

This alcohol is present in many fruits and berries,
like plunes and sorb tree.
It is chemically synthesized from starch and glucose.
Moistener, thickener, emollient, moisturizer.
Uses:
A moistener that maintains a cosmetic's water content
in its packaging and on the skin.
Exfoliating products
Cleansing milks
Soaps, creams, milk, toothpaste, deodorant
Masks
Dosage: 2 to 50% of the manufactured product's total weight in the aqueous phase.
