Dedicated to the goddess Juno in Rome, placed on the Sphinx's forehead in Egypt and on the pharaohs scepter, the three petals of the orris symbolized confidence, wisdom and courage.
Used for skin, body and teeth care, as well as in the manufacture of pot pourri, powdered orris root works very well on the natural moisture and elasticity of the skin.
The roots of this orris, finely pulverized in powder, emit a very fine and pleasant fragrance; the powder is, for centuries a very sought-after and used, perfume fixative.

Dosage:
a) We can make a decoction:
Orris root and 1 liter of water
Boil 15-20 minutes.
Filter
b) add the powder in the manufacture of milk or cream exfoliating.
c) we can add the powder in the manufacture of soap to fix the fragrance (essential oils): 1 teaspoon per 2.5 kg of soap
d) add the powder during the manufacture of toothpaste (10%).
e) a personalized perfume:
Vodka 100ml
60g of fresh root or 30g of powdered root
Steep for 2 weeks, shaking daily. Filter.
An excellent base that can be used as or can be modified with essential oils.
