Cosgard
INCI: Benzyl alcohol, Dehydroacetic acid, Water
One of the very few conservatives authorized by Ecocert.
It also met the standards of the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association
antibacterial, large spectrum antifungal,
it prevents the growth of mold, yeast,
bacteria in all cosmetic products containing water or hydrolates.
Uses:
Cream, body milk, lotion
cleansing milk
Shampoo
Gels
Dosage: 0.2 to 1% of the manufactured product's total weight.
Add at the very end of manufacturing: mix well.
The preservative will be more effective if the pH is below 7.
Soluble, with no problem, up to 1% in water or alcohol.
Overall: 0.6% is enough.
